Yeah, it's a common problem that most unexpected brainbreakers foil any means of planning for the future. That's where they got their name obviously anyhow.

If I were you, ask Zelos Wilder for his book "Parenting For Brainbreaker Parents 2nd Edition". It's the big book that reads "Don't Panic" on the front.
