It's just that... Recently you haven't been acting like Auntie Hoshi at all.
I mean, I already knew you were different. And I don't expect to you to be exactly the same. But, as time goes by, you're starting to act less and less like her and more like someone else.
No. She's not a Legendary Warrior either. I mean, she's a totally awesome fighter! And she can kick so much ass!
But... She doesn't have any control over any of the 5 elements. Auntie Hoshi uses the power of Light. I've never seen her use fire or water or anything like that.
There's this fabled attack that's under my family's rule and only a few select Hikari can master it. It's called Pentacle of Faith and that requires mastery over fire, water, wind/air, wood/earth as well as metal. However, since I have such a strong grasp of it already, I'm substituting metal with light.
Now, this attack is going to take a long time to learn, however I'd like to think that I can do it. Even Horohoro said that I mastered it with a lot of hard work.
Think of it like my Solar Rush attack combined with all of my other attacks that I've learned so far.
However, I can see your concern because this isn't something I've talked over with too many people.
Yeh but... You had already been training earlier that day. I just dunno if Auntie Hohsi would put herself at risk like that. I mean, if someone was in danger I know she'd rush in to help but... It was just training.
If I know myself as well as I think I do, I think the future me would keep the stories of how much she got her ass kicked in training even when she was okay.
I think it might come from some hot blood nature or at least an idiot hero thing...
Or maybe a hit or two on my head finally straightened things out and I decided to stop being stupid and actually learn stuff... but that stuff that my future me knows is something I probably will learn in some shape or form.

Is there any reason you're calling me Hikari-san instead of Auntie Hoshi?

And before you ask, no, I don't care if you hurt my feelings 'cause of it. I'm ready to take whatever you lash out, Hana.

So, one of your fears is that I won't be the doting and gentle Auntie Hoshi that you know in the future and be a completely different one...
Well, that's a bit troubling. What have I done to put this fear into your head, Hana?

Is the Auntie Hoshi you know an onmyoji?

I'm ready to fail trying to master the elements. In fact, with how much work it takes to do the basics? Well, I'll take a leaf from your dad's book.
Pushing yourself too much exhausts you, so you should just go with what's natural.
So, I think with that?
I'm gonna give up trying to master the elements.

It's better to master one thing than just just have some knowledge on a hundred things.

However, let's get back to the point. Is there anything else that I'm doing that's not like my future self?

Yet, I can see why because I got myself beaten up for it.
