Well, this is a sight I thought I'd never see again.

If anyone's lookin' for me, I'm in the hospital. I got a really bad wound to my back 'n a slight one to my shoulder, but... I should be outta here in a couple of days. Nothing too big, so don't worry, people!

Damn, this sucks. I thought I wasn't gonna see the hospital anymore after that...

Well, I had a normal childhood growing up and all that good stuff, up until I was six years old. My grandfather was stricken ill with a disease and my family always took care of him. You see, my grandfather is the one who began my shaman training in the first place and told me a lot of good things, like I'd be the leader of my village some day. So, it was up to my cousin to continue with my training.

So, a year later, I got to manage my first oversoul and it felt amazing, but on that same following night, I heard screams come from my village's gates when I was doing my nightly rounds. There I saw someone who was holding his spear up to some kids. He kept on asking if I lived here and eventually, I told him that I did live there.

...and so, that spiraled into me fighting against him...and...

*Sound of sniffling.*

Well...he was fairly bruised and cut up, but after he flung me into trees and all that fun stuff, so was I. He...well, while I had my back turned, he played dirty and fired an attack directly at my back...

All I remember from the attack was that it hurt and that I never wanted to experience that pain again. I... Well...I finished him off and he went away. I then crawled my way back to my village and passed out after that.

Then the next I remember is waking up in a hospital room, by myself, and connected to lots of stuff.

Sounds to me like you're strong. I know we've never met in person, but if you don't mind I'd like to stop by. I have this cure all that a friend of mine taught me about that helps with swirling painful emotions.
