To tell you the truth, I love my powers and would never trade them for anything...but I've always been a little jealous of elemental heroes.

They always seemed to have this connection to the natural world...let's see how do I put this...

My power boils down to cold hard math. There may be creativity in it's application but in the end my power is over the probability of something happening. It's complicated and overly complex.

Elements are primal, deep and wizened with age. Tapping into the powers of the elements is tapping into the whole of the universe at it's most basic level connecting you in ways the my powers can't compare.

Well, this is how I think of it. Elements are necessary. However, you having control over good and bad luck makes you quite helpful and needed due to how you can go both ways.

Element-verse powers are dependent on where they come from and if there's any outside force that doesn't work well with it, for example, my light is greater when I'm fighting in the sunlight. It's weakened when it's nighttime due to no natural light around. Shichiyou's darkness, on the other hand, has an inverse effect. It's stronger when it's nighttime and weaker when it's light outside.

So, one could argue that your have more of an influence.

And I wouldn't admit this to anyone, but my powers do that too. Good luck charms, bad luck superstitions all effect my powers for better or worse depending on how it's used.

Plus the more of one side I use the more the other comes back to me, I give people good luck I get burned, I give people bad luck I get rewarded.
